Mike Riley, Capt, USMC (Ret), is a Vietnam Veteran with 20 years of service in the Corps. He was in 1^st Recon Bn, 1^stMarine Division in I Corps, Vietnam. He was enlisted for nine years, achieving the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. In his last 11 years, his duties were as a Warrant Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, 1^st Lieutenant, and finally a Captain. Mike retired in 1987. He has been married for 47 years and has two sons, one a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army and the younger son an attorney in Southern California. He hopes his enthusiasm and support for veterans translate well to all members of the Post.
